Abstract

Academic leaders will discuss strategies to overcome obstacles in applying evidence to improve policymaking. Illustrative examples will be drawn from infectious disease control, health system reform, and climate resilience. How can we move beyond short-termism in policymaking? How can researchers better understand the context surrounding policymakers' challenges? This moderated session will be followed by a Q&A session.
